Maria Vieriu
Maria Vieriu is a Berlin-based tattoo artist and resident at Der Grimm Tattoo Studio, specializing in large-scale tattoos. Her artistic styles include Brush Art, Armura Arte and Blackout. She often incorporates Blackout Sleeves to enhance composition, create stronger contrast and elevate the visual impact of her work.
Maria began her tattooing journey at the age of 15 and has since dedicated herself to refining both her artistic vision and technical craft. Her work is rooted in the belief that tattooing is more than creating images—it is a collaborative process of crafting with the hands, working with knowledge, and creating with the heart.
Alongside her artistic practice, Maria has developed a strong interest in the science behind tattooing, with a particular focus on the healing of large-scale tattoos, wound healing, skin conditions and the individual differences that influence the tattooing process.
