Understanding & Advanced Wound Healing of Large-Scale Tattoos

Large-scale tattoo projects present unique challenges that go far beyond traditional aftercare advice. This seminar explores the physiology of wound healing, moisture balance, inflammation, biofilms, scar formation, and evidence-based approaches to modern wound care. Special attention will be given to blackouts, extensive projects, difficult anatomical areas, and common complications. The goal is to provide artists with a deeper understanding of healing processes and long-term outcomes, helping them make informed decisions that support both the skin and the artwork.
