Volunteer Application
Do you want to support BMXnet while benefiting yourself? Then apply as a volunteer today!
IMPORTANT: Volunteer spots are limited and will be assigned based on an internal selection process. Unfortunately, we cannot accept all applications.
Your tasks:
- Volunteers support the organization of the BMXnet Conference and are also involved in setup the day before and dismantling the day after the event.
- Specific tasks include setting up and dismantling the conference, accompanying classes and speakers, preparing classes, registering participants, supporting the organization of the conference (e.g., setting up chairs in rooms) and providing spontaneous help with anything that happens during the conference
- Volunteers work about two-thirds of each conference day and are ideally present on all days of the conference, but always whole days.
- All volunteers will be given the opportunity to attend their desired classes as part of their work (at least one per day) so that volunteers do not miss out on interesting content during the conference.

Formal requirements:
- Smartphone
- WhatsApp for communication at the conference
- Willingness to install our planning app on your phone for the duration of the conference to assign classes and tasks
- Volunteers should generally be BMXnet members. If you are not yet a member, let us know why — we will find a solution.
Important to know:
- Volunteers are not paid.
- Volunteers are generally responsible for arranging their own accommodation. However, BMXnet may be able to offer free shared accommodation for volunteers (we will know for sure April 2026) if there is sufficient demand.
