Safe Practices in the Piercing Room

All new version for 2025. This conference core education class will focus on important issues to protect piercers and their clients. We’ll go through the full process of a piercing (minus the piercing). This class covers handwashing & personal protective equipment, item storage and handling, setting up with a variety of materials, handling used sharps and instruments, disinfection, instrument pre-processing, and more. We will also demonstrate a few helpful topics such as disinfectant use, putting on sterile gloves, and whatever else time allows.
