Ron Garza
Ron Garza is a renowned body artist specializing in scarification, piercing, and branding, with over three decades of experience since beginning his piercing career in 1992. He has collaborated with notable figures like Allen Falkner, Steve Joyner, and Bear Belmares since 1996 when he did his first suspension from hooks. He has been recognized for advancing scarification art, notably receiving an award at the second edition of the SCAR CON convention. In 2013, he hosted the first International Scarification Convention in London, uniting artists from the US, UK, Scandinavia, and Europe.
Beyond his artistic endeavors, Garza has contributed educational resources, currently including curriculums on scarification, freehand piercing techniques, and he has been involved in body suspension performances for various media outlets and bands. He currently operates Sacrament Body Piercing in Lake Forest, California, and Laguna Beach, Ca. He continues to travel, teach, and mentor the next generation of body artists worldwide.
