Rigging Workshop: (back to the) basic
This workshop will be hands-on which is why the amount of attendees is limited to 20 persons max.
We start off with a short runthrough of the bare essential knots, and talk about when to use which one, showing this with examples!
We then cover the different ways in which we can rig (through the rigplate) in order to create more or less friction. The difference between these techniques will be quantified with motivation out of mechanical principles.
Since this class is very applied, it’s more suggested for newer bodysuspension practitioners, or those who would like to retake the basics and hear them being approached from an engineering standpoint.
If you don’t attend the class because you are already confidently rigging complex positions, don’t hesitate to ask the link to the slides afterwards for the analysis on the different techniques!
