BME: Past and Present

BME, the body modification ezine, was founded in the mid-90s, and grew to the largest online publication for everything related to body modification. BME pioneered the first forms of social media. It was a pivotal source of verifiable information, risks, and encouraging members until the 2010s. This presentation dives into the history of its founders, the timeline of BME’s growth, what made it and the community so unique for its time.
