Yosse Moonen

aka “Bluddhistic”
With a background in mechanical engineering and the military, I try to contribute this expertise where relevant. I enjoy dissecting, questioning and challenging established technical approaches; not to distrust the work of our colleagues, but to follow scientific principles to deepen our understanding of body suspension.
I’ve been involved with bodysuspension since 2021, starting off with an underground crowd but having had the luck to start being trained and mentored by Beto Rea along the way, for which I can’t thank him enough.
I facilitate independantly but structurally collaborate with Aiko Hosten (Burning Moon Bodyart) and Daniel Hetz (Fokus Bodyart), who both gave me indispensable tools and opportunities to get to where i’m now.
Besides suspension, I work as a Project Coordinator for a very large medical organization. By night, I lead Sanctuary, a queer-friendly kink event organization in Antwerp, focused on exploration and education since 2013. (But I will pass this on soonish.)
Don’t hesitate to come say hi! I’m always happy to meet new friends and learn from others’ experiences.
Classes 2025:
- Suspengineering I: Fundamentals of Mechanics for Safety and Comfort
- Suspengineering II: Material Science
- RT: Bodysuspension and Kink
