Tattoo ink is the most essential material for artists – without ink there are no tattoos.

Also this year I will present the current state of research – and also explain what certain results mean – or not. The basics of colours, regulation & unwanted health effects of tattoos & PMU will be explained for laymen and current developments will be discussed with you. Also included: Research communication via social media – who is telling what? The European Court of Justice & the white pigment titanium dioxide. The latest studies – what do research results say? How can I categorize them for myself and customers? What does psychology actually have to do with risks?

The lecture contains updates compared to 2024. If there is still time at the end, there will also be some all-time favourites.
