Macuile

Macuile began his journey in this field in the heart of Santiago of Chile in 2015, when he founded the renowned “Sangre y Familia” studio with his brother. This space became one of the most significant and iconic in South America, beautifying and recovering the tribal aesthetic that has been fading over the past few decades, to the point of being recognized nationwide as the center of large-gauge piercings and body modification, since then He started to be known as a prominent figure in the Chilean body piercing community

In his studio, Macuile led an exceptional team of piercers and guests, all committed to the aesthetic and ritualistic values of the ancient piercing tradition. He managed to create an inclusive space, oriented toward training and exchange, where numerous meetings and talks have been organized to enrich the community over the last years of his project.

In 2023, he participated in the organization of body piercing seminars in Chile, bringing together world-class piercers, an event that rekindled interest in education and the growth of our community in South America.

In the same year He worked with Mauricio “Banana” Torres, Kenneth Crespo, Nahuel Burgos and others, at the spanish re-edition of Blake Perlingieri’s Book “A brief history of the evolution of Body Adornment in Western Culture”.

Currently, Macuile lives and works in Madrid, Spain, working at “Flor de Oro” alongside a great team of professionals from around the world. He also actively participates in educational seminar projects offered by this space, and recently joined the LBP as graphic designer.

Those who know him know that he is always willing to share his knowledge without reservation. His dedication and passion for the art of piercing make him an inspirational figure in the community.
